Our client is a unique retailer providing retail products within the health and wellness space. Due to recent internal growth  they are seeking a highly motivated Warehouse Leader to join their team at their adjoining warehouse at the Hurstville store location.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
Reporting to the CEO, the Warehouse Manager  is responsible for managing the day to day operations of an efficient and cost-effective warehouse, servicing the adjacent store and all e-commerce operations, including; supplier and stock management, stock receipting, picking, handling, packing and reporting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Warehouse Management – fulfillment, inventory integrity, movement of goods in/out
  • Safety Management – best practice
  • Keep up to date with WHS and compliance to max capacity
  • Accurate stock records
  • Manage and report on warehouse budget
  • Deliver continuous service and cost improvements
  • Work with Merchandise and eCommerce teams to increase online sales and improve customer satisfaction
  • Team Lead – oversee warehouse team and manage work flow
  • Monitor and drive team performance
  • Recruitment and onboarding of team
  • Support and mentor team as per company values
  • Reporting – provide daily reports and product updates
  • Weekly performance reports
  • Report on inbound/overage shortages
  • Develop effective operational controls and performance monitors

KEY REQUIREMENTS: 

  • 3+ years minimum previous experience in retail/FMCG Warehouse Team Leader/Coordinator/Manager role  would be preferred.
  • Experience in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Sound understanding or Pick, Pack, Ship, Inventory control Receiving, Transportation and Safety practices
  • Ability to work productively and efficiently and take initiative when under pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic MS Office applications – Excel, PP
  • Learning agility and ability to adapt
  • Work in diverse team
  • Be PROACTIVE, POSITIVE and CAN DO ATTITUDE
