Our client in a well known international retailer now looking to grow their Marketing team. An opportunity has presented itself for a Trade marketing specialist- this is a newly created role.

Primary objective/general overview:
The primary role of the trade marketing specialist is to build and develop relationships with key customers to help drive growth with our biggest and most important customers.
You will drive trade marketing strategies across the full brand portfolio within both the category channels in Australia and New Zealand with a focus on Key Accounts. Responsible for how the brands are represented within Wholesale doors.

Main responsibilities and measurements:

  1. Customer Focus
  2. Trade Marketing-

-Develop and execute both seasonal and permanent trade marketing plans for all brands
-Manage the production, allocation and distribution of POP and fixtures to customers.
-Develop plans and execute co-op activities with key customers.
-Work with regional brand managers to understand and execute relevant brand campaigns.
-Drive marketing activities for STARS customers.
-Drive segmentation programs where relevant
– Work with commercial team to create initiatives to drive sell-in.

To be successful in this role you will have 2-3 years experience as a marketing/trade marketing specialist.

You will have Retail experience, enjoy a fast paced environment and have a true passion for driving results.

Must have a tertiary qualification.
