Our client is a multi branded National retail giant across apparel, youth, footwear and athleisure brands.


This role will be responsible for the management and maintenance of Performance Divisions Websites. Assist the Head of Ecommerce to deliver the digital strategy and provide a superior eCommerce experience.


  • and Achieving Sales:
  • Trading the Online business to hit financial targets
  • Review sales by week by day by promotion to agree future activity ahead of monthly projections.
  • Tracking sales performance to budget, projection & LY by promotion and by web metric
  • Proactively identify tactical opportunities and trade sales up side
  • Develop Strategies to bridge any sales deficit by channel.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts and trade estimates as required
  • Weekly/Monthly ecommerce sales reporting- providing insights
  • Understanding category performance and providing insights
  • Produce ad-hoc reporting where necessary

Digital Marketing:

  • Oversee the marketing calendar for eDM and on-site activity in partnership with the Marketing team
  • Working with the E-Commerce Executive to develop and execute trading calendar
  • Work in partnership with the Performance Team to drive continued growth and profitability through paid channels
  • Review and report on performance of Content related marketing to the broader business
  • and Product Management:
  • Work closely with Product Team on strategies that optimise online product assortments in key trading periods
  • Support eCommerce Coordinator in the product enrichment process and ensure products are pushed live within 48 hours of stock arriving in warehouse
  • Oversee merchandising strategy and ensure it is executed online
  • Working with Planning/ Allocation teams to ensure fulfilment targets are met

Conversion Rate Optimisation:

· Drive conversion rate improvements through detailed conversion rate optimization plan

Partnership Management:

  • Explore opportunities within the marketplace to collaborate with 3rd party sites to assist in meeting trade objectives

Web Development:

  • Working with agency/agencies to implement initiatives to drive growth of eCommerce business

Customer Experience:

  • Work with Omnichannel team to implement new developments- Eg Landing Pages/ Instore & Online Expriences


  • Direct reports – eCommerce Coordinator and Ecommerce Specialists
  • Management of eCommerce team overseeing performance and delivery to ensure targets are met
  • Encourage & motivate team to develop best practice, innovative, creative solutions and ideas
  • Act as a mentor to develop team members and help develop professional and functional capabilities

Qualifications and skills

  • 3-5 years’ retail inventory management experience
  • 2 years ecommerce operations coordination, preferably in Magento
  • footwear retail or wholesale background
  • written and verbal communication skills
  • attitude, hands-on and responsive
  • to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • independently and as part of team
  • self-driven with initiative to be hands-on to support wider team
  • Analytical skills experience with Google Analytics (or similar)
  • Highly organised with great communication skills
  • Marketing, business degree/diploma preferable.
