Roles & Responsibilities

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate the below capabilities and will own the below responsibilities:

Supplier & Production Support

  • Creating new items in the ERP system to support upcoming order placement ahead of time
  • Raising and amending Purchase Orders once order volumes have been approved and passed on by Production team
  • Raising Ticket Files and Cross Dock information and sending this to suppliers on time and with accuracy
  • Responding to all supplier queries regarding current and future orders in a timely manner
  • Reacting to supplier updates such as production shortages, ensuring the relevant team have been advised of changes, and amending all Pos, trackers etc to reflect these changes


  • Setting Targets accurately and in a timely manner for all new and ongoing products
  • Ensuring the correct stock goes to the correct location at the correct time, and taking ownership for target and system changes as needed
  • Communicating arrival of stock to retail team and ecommerce teams
  • Managing buffers to allow smooth fulfillment of Click and Dispatch orders in stores


  • Supporting the Merchandise Planning Assistant by preparing reporting on stock and sales on a weekly basis
  • Making suggestions on consolidations where applicable
  • Communicating consolidation requirements to stores in a timely, clear manner
  • Following up with stores to ensure consolidations are completed on time and in full

System Administration

  • Ensuring all database management is up to date and accurate at all times, including item attributes, branch attributes, markdown management etc
  • Taking ownership for accurate maintenance of promotions within the POS
  • Preparing and uploading any necessary price changes, ensuring they go live on time and are correct


  • Preparation of basic reports as required by the business


Retail & Digital Support

  • Act as the link between stores, digital teams and the Merch Planning team at all times
  • Communicate all necessary info to the Digital and store teams in a timely, accurate and supportive manner
  • Respond to all queries from the above teams quickly and with accuracy

About you

  • Moderate computer skills in particular using Excel, creating pivot tables, using VLookups etc.
  • Exceptional organisation and analytical skills – attention to detail is key
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines and effectively multi-task
  • Great focus on problem solving and anticipating problems or challenges before they arise
