About the Role: 

We are currently recruiting for a Head of Visual Merchandising. Based in the Melbourne office and reporting to the brand director. You will be responsible for the field VM’s and coordinators, to ensure all retail and concepts stores (100+ in AU +international) visual concepts and brand standards are maintained.

 

Experience Required:

  • At least 3 years experience in a similar role, with a similar level of responsibility within an apparel retailer (women’s is advantageous).
  • Relevant qualifications in VM or similar (is advantageous).
  • Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe Suite.
  • Internal and external stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong leadership, public speaking and development skills.
  • An interest and ability to follow international trends and come up with innovative strategies.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop the VM strategy across all markets.
  • Provide creative direction for all product placement, store layout, windows and creative.
  • Effectively manage the VM budget and library.
  • Communicate internally for new store or concept roll outs, with on-going development of fixtures and fittings.
  • Stay ahead of VM trends, competitors and maintain brand standards to ensure remaining relevant.
  • Provide and manage international VM concepts, communication and trade meetings.
  • Comply with all OH&S standards.
