Born in the mid 2000’s our client launched their successful business into the Australian market, designing and providing swimwear and intimate apparel.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Work with Retail Marketing Team to develop print elements i.e. point of sale, decals, strut cards etc
  • Stay in tune with current design/retail/art trends through ongoing research ie store visits, attending exhibitions, trip pics, creative seminars
  • Propose, design and rollout new in store concepts based on research
  • Retouch images for packaging and websites
  • Deep-etch product imagery
  • Create image files that can be used for web, packaging and EDMs
  • Distribute imagery when requested to stakeholders
  • Design, set up artwork according to store specifications, VM memos, distribution lists and the production of all menswear windows
  • Design, set up and oversee the production of internal and external signage for current and new stores
  • Set up and design trim artwork, tech packs, package design, retouching, branding, layouts, catalogues, EDMs etc
  • Liaise with store and VM team about current/future promotions, signage, VM installation
  • Ability to design swiftly with high attention to detail
  • Produce artwork to the timelines set
  • Check own artwork and make recommendations when requested
  • Present work professionally to key decision makers
  • Designing and developing digital visual communications
  • Create website content (including development, coding, maintenance and editing), ensuring it is integrated, SEO and mobile friendly, information-rich and relevant to the clients demographic
  • Re-purpose creative concepts for all other digital requirements including: social media assets, banners, digital advertising
  • Understanding useability and navigation issues and integrate these into the overall design concept across all platforms e.g. social, mobile, app, website
  • Implement new online initiatives and keep abreast of new and emerging technologies

Skills & Experience

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Graphic/Digital Design along with proven experience in retail design or creative/digital agency
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Solid experience using HTML, CSS and executing responsive design
  • Ability to work autonomously from initial stages through to execution
  • Knowledge of different digital platforms including web, mobile and application
  • Skilled in both PC and Mac and experience working with  Email (Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor) and CMS web platforms (Magento, WordPress, Demandware would be highly advantageous )
