Originally foundered in New York over 15 years ago, this (primarily) menswear fashion brand can now be seen across 30 stores, with growth plans locked in or under way in Canada, USA, Porto Rico, UK and Australia, additional wholesale accounts across major department stores in North America and licensee options in Japan.

The Role

As a key member of the executive leadership team, the COO (working in close collaboration with the CEO and Non-executive Director) is responsible for ensuring the successful execution and implementation of the strategic and commercial initiatives/projects – as set by the Board of Directors.


  • Provide guidance/lead all company strategic initiatives and projects reporting to the CEO in close collaboration and partnership with the Chairman forming the company executive team.
  • Lead the store rollout Globally.
  • Maintain and increase team disciplines in the current retail portfolio.
  • Create and execute strategic project plans, including deadlines, spec, assets, budget, vendor coordination, status updates, approvals and final delivery.
  • Prepare & collate regular leadership reports of all strategic activities.
  • Own project budgets, scope, schedule and resources.
  • Identify critical business needs, provide strategic approaches and outcomes across multidisciplined teams and functions with accountability for successful collective delivery.


  • Extensive experience in a leadership role with an Omni-Channel RETAIL or distribution business, with accountability across large multi-disciplined teams.
  • Extensive experience in the leadership, management and execution of a multi-site bricks and mortar retail business with a national /Global footprint.
  • General/Commercial Management with Profit and Loss accountability.
  • Project management (multiple projects simultaneously).
  • High profile internal and external stakeholder’s management and influence.
  • Recent Retail rollout project experience.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organisation with strong change management capability.
  • Demonstrated experience leading transformation programs in line with company strategy.
  • Strong business, project management, financial and analytical acumen.
  • Self-motivated and driven; a fast learner with a calm & positive influence.
  • Experience in consulting with stakeholders in cross-functional teams to enable the delivery of enterprise-wide strategic initiatives and prioritized improvement projects.
  • Ability to follow through on set tasks and effectively manage priorities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Have an outgoing, confident, and vibrant personality.
