Our client is a licensed product manufacturer, servicing retail and wholesale clients. As the Business Development Manager your key focus will be to develop and grow an E Commerce channel within our business. This role requires an enthusiastic and dedicated individual who will be responsible for the strategic and financially outcomes of this account.

 

Based in the South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

 

Project and Account Management

 

  • Managing and retaining relationships with existing stakeholders
  • Negotiating with stakeholders and suppliers on terms and purchases
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts
  • Writing and presenting business reviews and proposals
  • Developing growth strategies and plans
  • Working with the key stakeholders to devise Marketing Plan & Budget

Stock Inventory management

  • Having an in-depth knowledge of product range and value proposition
  • Reviewing existing range & sales, Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs
  • Following industry trends locally and internationally
  • Range selecting and coordinating POs to suppliers
  • Communicating with warehouse on upcoming deliveries and supply issues
  • Coordinating In house photography and/or image request from suppliers
  • Working with suppliers to run potential exclusive lines through the E-Commerce channels or specials / events to increase sales
  • Continual site review and management. Ensuring that look, feel and functionality is right and liaise with internal team to make updates and improvements as required

Experience required

  • 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience with Apparel 21 or like ERP system preferred but not essential
  • Sport Knowledge is beneficial
